ubiquitous, iniquitous & equity

Apparently these three words shows similarity though they do not have anything in common to say about. ubiquitous is found every where but least used. iniquitous and equity might have common root some where in medieval linguistics but they are meant apart in contemporary English. Anything iniquitous is not equally accepted as it seems weird to society.
